Best Friends

Carter and Abi have become best friends in the last year or so. Of course, Carter seems to make friends with any animal he encounters, but he and Abi seem to have a connection. She is so gentle with him and seems to love him as much as he loves her. Poor Austin (our other dog) is terminally ill, and doesn't always feel up to playing, but he and Carter do love each other too. There's just something about Abi. Carter touches her and she immediately calms and gets a very contented look on her face. I love this picture of the two of them!
