Living the Life of Lollipops and Laughs

Ever wondered what it would be like to live a life where fingers are almost always sticky, gum in the hair is a usual occurance, and laughter abounds? Well--we're living it!! Maybe you already know that life well, and if so, this blog will take you on a walk down memory lane or maybe let you know that your family isn't all that crazy afterall...
Welcome to Lollipops and Laughs--a daily journal of the life of the Fiebiger family. We hope you will enjoy reading our posts and looking at the pictures. If you drop by, leave a comment...we would love to hear from you!

Sick Boy

Well, Carter is feeling some better today, thankfully. I kept him home from school again today because he woke up still not feeling the best and still had a fever. He is finally feeling like eating again, which is a good thing...that boy really can't afford to lose any weight!
With two sick kiddos, one physically sick dog, one mentally sick dog (more on that later), one cat and six fish at home, Chad decided to go on a 4 day long hike. I can't say that I blame him! If he comes back and I'm bald, he can't say I didn't warn him. He and two friends went hiking and camping in the Pecos Wilderness. They left this morning and will return on Sunday. I'm really excited for him, because I know that he will have an excellent time...AND an excellent adventure. He keeps me posted as to where he is with Google maps. Its fun to look at the map and see his progress.
Robyn and Doug (my neice and her husband) are staying with me and the kids and house full of pets for the weekend so we don't have to be alone. I'm very thankful, as I would probably go crazy without some grown-up in-person conversations. The phone is great and all, but sometimes I forget that people can be more than 3 feet tall!
We are going to the pumpkin patch this weekend, assuming Carter is feeling up to it, so I will post pictures of the kids on Saturday night or Sunday. Hope everyone is enjoying the crisp fall weather...I know that we are. The weather is absolutely PERFECT. Nice and crisp; not too cold, not to warm; just a hint of a fall smell in the air and that warm sunny glow that somehow only happens in the fall months. Love love love autumn in New Mexico.
