Sick...of being sick!

I guess its just that time of year, but we are really sick of being sick! Marlie started running a fever on Saturday and complained that her throat hurt. She just started getting back to her old self yesterday...but of course, that was the day that Carter woke up sick. He apparently has a little..no scratch that...big stomach bug. He had a high fever most of the day yesterday and then was up all night last night; poor guy. He slept in this morning, and woke up feeling some better, but his fever is back and I can't give him anything for it, for fear that it might come back up. Marlie went to school this morning, so maybe Carter can have a little peace and quiet for a few hours. He's quite concerned about missing library day, but he had no choice! Hopefully the rest of us will not end up getting this...especially Chad since he leaves tomorrow for his hiking/camping trip in the Pecos Wilderness. Being sick on a hike would surely be a disaster!
