It's SNOWING!

Well, we woke up this morning to big snowflakes falling. I had to wake Carter up at 8:00 (he leaves at 8:20), but he really didn't want to get out of bed. He told me that it was way too early and way too cold to get out of bed. Marlie, on the other hand, is already asking to go outside to make a snowman. I tried explaining to her that it is a little difficult to make a snowman when there is virtually no snow on the ground, but because she sees the snowflakes falling, she is convinced she should be able to make a snowman. I told her to look on the ground and see that there is not enough snow to make one, so she started asking to go to the mountain.
This is our first snow of the season, which is really much later than usual. We have had snow on the mountain for several weeks now, but it hasn't been snowing down here until now. The kids are really anxious to go sledding...they've been asking since October!
On a different note--when Marlie gave up the snowman idea, she started asking to take a bath. When I told her that she could take a bath later, she said "but...MAAAAMMMAA....I need to take a bath to get all clean and sparkley...that's what God made us to do." Where does she come up with this stuff?
