...well, maybe not...anyway--I don't know what got into me today. Marlie and I have been in the kitchen all morning. We made four loaves of banana bread, a pumpkin cobbler and a blueberry crisp. She helped me make all of it and loved every minute of it. Its just the two of us today, so this was an opportunity for some much needed "mommy-Marlie time". I had to laugh, though, because she was SURE that the brown sugar was sand, and was VERY concerned that we were putting "sand" in a bowl with oats. She also doesn't yet understand that the flour you bake with is NOT pureed flowers. So confusing. Anyway--we made a huge mess of the kitchen, but it was totally worth it. She's a great little baker.
