School Picture Day
We got Marlie's very first school pictures back today. While I was not thrilled with the fact that she didn't smile for the group picture, I have to say that the individual one definitely captures her personality.
No comment...other than he gets it from his Daddy!
Don't Fall Over!
Chad getting ready for his Pikes Peak hike.
Field Trip Fun--Carter & Marlie
Carter and Marlie actually standing still for 2 seconds at the entrance of the Bio-Park. Still can't believe I got one of the two of them together. They were running around like crazy people!
Field Trip Fun--Carter's Class
This is a group of kids from Carter's class with their teacher, Ms. Warder, admiring the beautiful morning glories.
Field Trip Fun--Marlie in the Mix
Marlie made fast friends with two of the little girls in Carter's class.
Field Trip Fun--Carter's Art Journal
One of the requirements for field trips is to record your thoughts and observations through art in an art journal...of course Carter LOVES this part!
Playing in the Park--Chad having fun
Chad "helped" the kids go down the slide. You can tell by the look on his face that he is really hating every minute of it!
Playing in the Park--crazy teeter totter
Chad and Carter were loving this stand-up version of a teeter totter.
Playing in the Park--Marlie's Train Ride
Marlie really loved the train ride around the park...here she is trying not to laugh...not sure why. We love laughs!!
young love
Carter is loving kinder. We weren't sure at first, seeing as how the first day was spent prying him away from the post outside his classroom and then prying him off of my leg and then off of the doorframe...you get the picture. We are so thankful for his amazing teacher, Ms. Warder. "She's awesome", as Marlie would say!
morning ritual
